Encouraging, equipping and nurturing a life of faith in Jesus for Jesus
Discipleship: Go and Make Disciples!
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Making disciples includes these four steps:
1. Discipling people into a relationship with God
Discipling people into a relationship with God means sharing the gospel with them and nurturing their growth in Christ. For that you have to be growing in Christ, going with them as they grow in Christ.

2. Discipling people to serve others
Discipling people to serve others involves coaching them into the ministries God is calling them into: encouraging one another and building each other up. [1 Thessalonians 5:11] It is something you do with them not to them!
3. Discipling people to support each other
Discipling people to support each other means introducing them to the church, our fellowship, our corporate worship, and to our small group or ministry teams. It's as we "encourage one another and build each other up" that people learn to care for each other. [1 Thessalonians 5:11]
4. Discipling people to disciple others
Discipling people to disciple others means helping them take others through the steps 1 to 3 .
